Live art as a gift to the newlyweds
I set up my easel among your guests and draw portraits and caricatures during the reception. This is not a show to watch โ it’s an experience to live. Every guest becomes the protagonist of an original artwork they take home.
I use professional drawing paper and sign every single piece. This is not the funfair caricature โ it’s real art, made with respect for the person in front of me, and with the speed needed to reach everyone.
How it works:
- ๐ฅ During the aperitif โ I take a dedicated spot, guests come up one by one
- ๐ฝ๏ธ During dinner โ I move between the tables. Nobody has to stand up
- ๐ผ๏ธ The drawings are hung on a wall โ a temporary gallery everyone looks at and photographs
- โฑ๏ธ Each face takes about 5 minutes (drawing + guest change, photos, conversation)
- ๐ At the end of the evening every guest collects their portrait. The newlyweds receive a special drawing as a gift

Yatri on “Four Weddings” (Sky)
Yatri took part as a live artist in the popular Italian TV show Quattro Matrimoni (Four Weddings) on Sky, bringing live caricature art to the contestants’ weddings.
During the episode, Yatri created a tableau with the newlyweds’ caricature โ an original alternative to the classic guest book: guests signed and wrote wishes directly on the artwork, which became a keepsake painting for the couple.

๐ฏ How many portraits can you draw?
Time depends on the number of faces, not the number of sheets. Drawing four people on the same sheet takes as long as drawing them on four different sheets. On average I count about 5 minutes per face, including guest change, photos, conversation and observation.
๐ญ Are the drawings delivered immediately?
Usually I hang them on a wall near my spot. A temporary gallery is born that everyone photographs. At the end of the evening every guest collects their own portrait. The wall of portraits is part of the entertainment.
๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ Do you draw groups?
I prefer single portraits, couples or families living together. If a person appears in two different drawings, that face is drawn twice, using time that could go to another guest โ I call it the duplicates problem.
๐ How much space do you need?
Three chairs (one for me, two for guests), an easel and no electricity. The important thing is a wall or structure to hang the portraits. If it rains or the layout changes, I move in a minute.
๐ How far in advance should we book?
The wedding season (May to October) fills up months in advance. I recommend booking at least 3-6 months ahead. If you have a closer date, contact me anyway.
๐ถ Do children get priority?
Absolutely yes! Children are my favourite subjects. I let them go first, so they get their drawing and can keep playing without waiting.
๐ Do you travel outside Turin?
Yes, I work all over Italy. I have drawn in Piedmont, Lombardy, Liguria, Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto and many other regions. Contact me for a quote with your location.
